Join ito ito and build the systems that will define how fashion is made tomorrow
ito ito connects digital design processes with physical knitwear production — on demand, no
minimum order quantities.

We build the infrastructure fashion brands need to produce faster and more flexible: with our partner microfactory in Berlin, a growing network of production partners across Europe, and a platform that brings both together. Our team works at the intersection of software, machine technology, and the fashion industry – rethinking how knitwear is made.

Your role
You take over Stoll programming and technical product development at the Berlin microfactory.

You develop and maintain knitting programs using STOLL technology, working closely with our team building
the automated conversion of design data into machine-ready knitting files.

You are the technical bridge between the ito ito platform, our customers, and actual machine production —
making sure everything comes together.

How you work

  • Structured, thorough, solution-oriented — including on complex production processes
  • Clear, professional communication with customers, partners, and the internal team
  • (German or English at B2 level)
  • You can read customer needs and develop technical solutions that actually work
  • You have a genuine interest in systematising processes and making workflows reproducible
  • You juggle multiple projects in parallel without losing quality or overview
  • You plan production processes independently and hit productivity and quality targets

Your profile

  • Degree in Knitwear Design, Textile Engineering, or Fashion Design with a knitwear focus
  • Strong experience in Stoll programming, Create plus and M1 plus
  • At least 4 years of experience as a Knitwear Programmer or in technical knitwear product development
  • Solid experience in fully-fashioned knitwear and pattern construction
  • Experience in knitwear garment assembly is a plus
  • Experience developing knitted shoe uppers is a plus
  • Advanced machine operation skills, including maintenance and repair of ADF knitting machines
  • Software: Stoll M1 plus, Create plus, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace

What we offer

  • You‘ll join a startup that‘s disrupting fashion production — on-demand, agile, with real customers and real machines running.
  • A role with real creative freedom and close collaboration across tech, design, and production —
  • A high-performance culture built on ownership, open feedback
  • Salary: €50,000–65,000 gross/year, depending on experience and 24+3 days annual leave (based on a full-time contract)
